Well it has been a VERY busy January around our place. I haven't had alot of time to craft but was able to finish up some stitched heart pillows I created. They are made from muslin and then given n aged look. I made some fabric yoyo's and aged them also, layered a couple, and turned them into flowers with a different button in the center of each. The "leaves" are felt cut in a heart shape then stitched on when I did the stitched stem. Lastly I stitched the word~LOVE~ and then all the way around the edge in a prim red. I do love how they turned out :)

They will sell for 10.00 ea. and that includes shipping.

Let me know if you would like to purchase one, the fabrics and buttons may vary.

I have also been busy redoing my daughter, Hannah's room. It is just about finished, thank goodness! I don't have any pictures to show yet, but her color theme is a dark raspberry for the walls, black trim, and the black and white zebra print for the bedding and accessories. We can't wait to put it all together, it will look awesome! Should have pictures in a week or two.

They did pretty good this year, they each placed third in their classes.

This was Austin's last year showing, so now it will only be Hannah until Sam is old enough :)

These are the cards I made for the buyers of their hogs. Austin showed for 4-H and Hannah showed for FFA, so I made the cards in each clubs colors. Cute ;)

Latest Paper and Fabric Crafting!

Well hope everybody had a great New Years and it is still going good! We are quite chilly for SW Florida these days but I really do LOVE it! I grew up, up north, so I miss the seasons and get so excited when it's not just hot and sunny day after day after day. I took some pics of a fence and my blackberry plant, I guess this is as close to snow as I'm gonna get.... bummer ;)

I can still wish though....LOL !

Well I started my card cafting, for the January birthdays, and then one for a relative that had a new baby girl. This is the baby girl card. The card fits into a paper "diaper" I made. I got this pattern a long time ago, and I think it's just to cute for a baby card!

~~~The paper "diaper"~ I used a big pink safety pin on the front and tied small ribbons to it. I didn't use a flash on this set of pics so it looks different but I was trying to catch the glitter dots that I did all over it. Cute!

This card is for a nephew, the great thing about this one is the frog is from a pack of about 36 different patterened and colors of frogs that I got in the school supply clearance bin for like .70! I just love when I find those deals, and how cute is that! The inside reads "Hoppy, Hoppy Birthday"

now I am working on a nieces' card, she is turning 15.

I am also working on some hearts for Valentines day, will post them soon.

Here are my Bumble Bee bowl fillers, I really like how they turned out. They will sell for $4.00 each. They are about 6 1/2" long, and nice and prim.

Here is my prim star pillow with red, white , and blue stitching along the edges. They also have the date "1776" stitched on it. These will sell for $5.00 each.

We will be home for the day so it will be a nice relaxing day, of course thats after

the gifts are opened and the wrapping mess is cleaned up :)

I am gonna do some cooking but nothing major. So the day should

be fun and laid back, which is a great way to spend it I think!

I thought I'd share a picture of my little one enjoying some "snow".

I would love for it to be real snow but thats not gonna happen down south here.

We went to some stores last week and they had a foam blowing machine

set to blow "snow" every hour. Well it looks almost real and she just loved

it! I can only imagine her in the real stuff! She even tried to catch some

in her mouth and, well that was no good :)

So we would love for snow, but looks like only sunshine :)

Been trying to get some unfinished projects done that have taking up space in my work room, I'm working on bumble bee bowl fillers that I created, and will post pics when I get it all done.

Finished a couple more spool willow trees today and plan on putting them in my etsy store.

They are 10.00. They each have a different look because of the spools not being the same, like this one has some blue paint on it and I love that :)

Yea! I did it!

Ok so I'm so proud of what I was able to accomplish with changing my blogs look!! I am not very smart with all the computer stuff, thats why my blogs look is always the same :) Well I'm not that old and in high school we still used typewriters! Remember those! That was one of my classes! My kids are always laughing at me, oh well :) So I hope you like my holiday look now, and the top picture is of my cabinet in my entry.

Well onto other fun, we have our trees, yes more than one :), up and am loving the pine smell from the real one. We actually have 4 trees around the house! "My" big, real tree. It has been labeled mine because it has all my handmade by me, and friends, prim ornaments and ornaments my mom made. Those are the only ornaments we have from her :( so I cherish them and even though they are not prim they go on "My" tree. Then we have the "kids" tree which has all the ornaments they have collected over the years and they have made. Each year they pick out a new ornament to add and I date it and add their name to it.

Hannah and Sam have also decorated each a little tree of their own for their rooms, they are cute!

Well I hope everybody has a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving today. We are two short around here with my hubby and son on a hunting trip in Indiana, and still trying to get their big bucks :) I sure hope they get something.
Here is a turkey my lil one made by tracing her hand, and I cut out then she decorated it! It turned out so cute I think for her first time doing this craft all by herself :)

Well I am making the turkey this year! yikes! I hope it comes out good :0) That's a BIG part of the meal! I'll let ya know how it goes.

Well with the hubby being out of town and everyone else unable to watch my lil Sam I don't get to do the early Black Friday shopping this year :( Usually Hannah and me and sometimes relatives are Black Friday crazies! We don't get insane like some, we just like to see what we can get for free and great deals. We also just have fun watching all the really obsessed people look like fools. It's like a show sometimes I swear! To funny :)

So this year we wont go until like 7 so Sam will be plenty rested and she will be happy if she gets her Chick fil A, so loves it! I think we will still have fun.

Well enjoy your time with family, I wish my mom could be here, miss her lots.

It's been awhile!

Well it has been awhile since I posted last and it has been crazy busy around here :0)

I just finished the second weekend of Hunsaders Fall Festival, 1 more to go and as much as I enjoy the festival I will be glad when it is done. I also had a booth at the McIntosh Fall Festival on Saturday and it was awesome!! Met lots of great people/customers. I have been so busy crafting I really need to take a day to catch up on the house cleaning :0) but it's not like it's gonna go anywhere, right! Luckly Austin didn't have a football game last Friday night so it made it nice to go set up for the McIntosh show.

Here is a pic of my booth at McIntosh and Sam with her chocolate ice cream.

I had to split up my booth to have one here and one still at the Hunsaders show so I really don't like how empty it looks but it worked and thats what matters I suppose. I have some ideas for next year though :)

Well it's hunting season around here so this is what Austin shot Sunday evening~ a 6 point buck~ YEA!! My freezer really needed this, we were down to only jerky for venison and man I do not like having to buy my meat at the grocery store! It's expensive! So it was a good end to the weekend.

Well this week will be full of more crafting and cleaning, getting ready for more shows coming up. I can't believe we are almost in November!! Christmas is coming up quick!

We are having some awesome weather down here, I soooo love the cool air.

Wednesday Workings

Well this week has been busy, busy, busy! I've been up early till late workin' on craft goodies for my shows coming up in October. I just love the Fall Thyme :0) it's my favorite! I've been making lots of signs in all different sizes and fabric items that my list seems to never be ending! Just when I think I've checked something off the list, it seems that something else ends up on it! I guess I just need to stop getting ideas (ya right, won't happen) I'm working on a sheep pattern I created, thats the pic above. They will have wooden peg legs and a wooden base yet, so they are still in progress. The pic of the signs is just a "few" of what I have done, They are so fun to do :0)

We are busy with school stuff also, Friday night football (so LOVE to watch my boy play!) He plays defensive tackle and he is great at it! Austin also got his class ring last week and it's awesome! Now he is asking for his lettermens jacket, so I think that will be for Christmas.

The kids also have thier 4-H show pigs that are growin good. They have first weigh in on Sunday morning. We had to cut them back on the feed cause they were gaining to much and they can't be over 100 pounds at 1st weigh in so now they are on track. Here is pics of them:

Wednesday Workings

Well I hope you all are having a great week so far. Today was a very productive crafting day! YEA!! I finished up 5 raggedy dolls, painted a ton of black cat bowl fillers, painted some black crow bowl fillers, stuffed and grubbied 10 medium and 10 small witch hats and did some stitcheries also!!! whew that was alot :0) I'm begining to feel the crunch for the falls shows coming up. Pretty much every weekend in October. I'm excited and stressed, but I sooo LOVE the fall season so I am ready for it! I'm ready for cooler weather and I've already made pumpkin muffins this week mmmmm..... I hope to do fall decorating this weekend around the house.

We have been going to football games each Friday for Austin and last week it was a very long night as the game was posponed 1 and 1/2 hrs because of lightening storms. They ended up winning so that was nice.

Well I have to say it sure is hard for me to post regular lately it seems, life is busy and has so many different directions it pulls me that some days I just can't keep up! Well we went to Busch Gardens with friends, they have 2 kids the same ages as our older two (ya not everybody our age has a surprise sweetie 9 years after they thought they were done! But it's good and we love her tons) The kids had someone to ride rides with and stuff. We had alot of fun and it was Sams first trip there so she was just lovin' it all :) Here are some pics of her on the only ride we got to take her on with us but here is the funy thing, Sam and I just watched everyone else go onthe ride first and as we are watching Sam lost her flip flop through the slots of the fence and it fell in the water! So they got off the ride and hubby was like they said we can take Sam on the ride so lets go. So we wait in line and Sam has no shoes remember but we thought it should be fine. Not. They made us go back and get the 1 flip flop she had left to be able to ride it!?! So we did and she said it wasn't fun but wanted to ride again after she got off the ride! LOL :0) So cute!

Her face is awesome!!

School is back in swing again and that means Football!!! and we had the first game last night and Austin played awesome. He sacked the QB and then the RB and had some killer blocks that sent 1 boy flying! They won and they played a good game, even with a 30 min or so break for a power outage.

Well I have been working on witch hats this week and need some buttons to finish up my dolls I have started. I hate that when I'm in the middle of a project and thought I had a supply and then I don't. So I start my supply list to get, and now it has grown lots! So I will be making a trip to the store soon :) I will post project pics this week. I have lots more on my todo list for the fall shows coming up soon. I can't wait for fall, it is my favorite thyme of year. I LOVE the colors, and weather, and the food, just everything! I would love it even better if I was up north to see the leaves change color, I sooooo miss that :( Thats why I have maple trees planted all around my house because it's the closest I can get to my northern leaves. They change colors and I just love it :0) I'm getting hungry for some pumpkin muffins now!! HaHa!

Well I'm off to do some chores and maybe stencil some signs so hope everyone has a great weekend!

Happy Wednesday

Hello everybody! I don't have any pics of craft projects completed, I'm working on dolls and signs and more at the moment. So I thought Id take some pics of my beautiful orchids! I have to say I have neglected these plants by not watering or fertilizer and such so I was so shocked to get all these amazing blooms! They are so pretty, I have them on my front porch by the door. It has been so rainy down here lately. But I'm not complaining because I don't much care for the sun and heat anyway ;0)

Well Hannah and Samantha have had their birthdays now and Austin is in a few weeks. Another year flown by it seems and they are all growing up fast. Samantha will have her party in a couple weeks which she is sooo looking forward to. Hannahs party was a ton of fun!

Sam got a new bike with two bells on it! Hannah made her cupcakes. I love how she is looking at those candles and her cupcake! Hannah had a big cookie cake with all neon colors, it looked awesome and tasted even better :0)

Happy Monday!

Ok so when my hubby was leaving for work this morning he had a surprise in our garage. We had a water moccasin about 4 feet long in there!!! Billy and Sally my malti-poos had it cornered and it got stuck in the side of a dog crate and couldn't get back out! Yikes!! It was so fat. My hubby thinks it got in during the night and couldnt find its way back out quick enough when the dogs started going at it, and ended up stuck. Not what I wanted to see could get into my garage! You just never know down here. What a way to start the day :)

We are getting ready for a Hannahs birthday party sleepover on Friday. It should be fun. Made some new curtains for my bathroom the other day and I have to get used to them. They are so different from before. The ones before had a valance and a curtain on the bottom half, so it blocked the view outside. These you can see right out and thats gonna take some getting used to. We dont have any neighbors, just cows and a horse so it's not that anyone can see in. It's just thought that they are open now. I love the curtains themselves, I made them from onasburg that I coffee stained and just kept the edges frayed, very simple and prim :)

Now I need to decorate the room more, I've taken things down and been rearranging stuff. I've been in that mood lately around the house. Next is Hannahs room, she needs a fresh coat of paint on her walls and trim repainted, oh boy that will be a job :)

Well hope everybody has a great week, I'm going to go pressure wash the porches and stuff. I should be doing crafts for the fall shows coming up but that will have to wait for now.

Well we are home from our vacation and brought with us some new treasures. We had so much fun hitting yard sales and of course my favorite, the auction :) We had fun visiting relatives also. I'm still figuring out where everything should go, so it has been alot of rearranging so far.The pedal tractor was so cool and works perfect to. I was sooo happy to get the churn, I've been hoping for one of these for so long, they are usually pricey and so I would always just say one day. So that was a happy win at the auction :) I love all our new treasures! Hope everyone had a great July 4th, we lit some fireworks we bought, thats my sons favorite, and had s'mores ~yummy~

Everytime we come back from up north I want to plant flowers! Because every yard and garden is so pretty with the flowers and veggies. I just love that!

Well we are now planning and preparing for Hannahs birthday coming up soon, the theme is black and white zebra with peace signs!?! Sounds different, but I have to say I think it's going to come together good. She is looking forward to it. Then right after that it will be Sams birthday party and she chose Strawberry Shortcake. That will be cute to :) I'll post pics as they happen.

Well Sams' room is now done! Well with the painting that is. We are still working on decorating the walls and all that fun stuff. But we are sooo glad to be done painting and to move her back into her room. She picked pink, and loves it! And it is very pink :) She picked out a new comforter for her bed, Princess of course! I made the curtains, and they gave me some grief but they are done for now, I'm still gonna add a valance of some sort yet. Sam did help paint to and of course we had some spills. We covered her carpet with plastic and it was a good thing because she dumped the whole tray of paint one day onto the floor! Ya that was fun :) But it was all good. She loves her new room and thats what I wanted.

We are preparing to go on vacation this weekend if all goes good and spend some much needed time realxing and all of us together having fun. Oh and of course treasure hunting :) Yea!!! We have had lots going on with the weather and the internet working when it feels like, don't you just love that. Then we had septic tank issues last weekend and got that all taken care of and hope it stays that way. We are still busy with baseball but had our last game cancelled from weather. But still very thankful for the rain, we needed it.

Well we will hopefully be traveling for the Holiday so I hope everyone has a great 4th of July. We will see some fireworks I'm sure, the kids love them, and us big kids to!! :)

Almost Complete

Well I've been waiting to post this project redo I told you all I was working on because I don't have all the pieces I want for it, but it has been so long that I thought I'd share it with everyone at this point. I got this wash stand for a birthday gift from my sister and I liked it but it was just not quite my style-sort of- I love the look of it but the wood look was not doing it for me and the pottery was really not my style. Soo my idea was repaint it and find some enamel ware pieces to fit it with, now that would be my style :0) So I painted it black and distressed the edges a bit, then rubbed it down with some stain and I sooo love how it looks now! I added some towels to each side and am gonna add the prim candles to it yet also. Well my friend said she has an enamel ware bowl that will be perfect for it and I can have it - she's so sweet :) - So now all I have to do is get that bowl from her and the I'll post a pic of it completely together. But for now here it is almost complete :) I have it in my hallway, right now.

I'm almost finished also with my little ones room redo, lots of painting-pink- and am working on curtains that are not working out for me so I had to just walk away from them for a day or two before I turned them into stuffing for a pillow! So They are on hold at the moment :0) I will post those pics in a few days, hopefully if the curtains don't make me crazy first!

Well we have been busy going to my sons baseball games and they have been so HOT to sit at! but it keeps him busy and we love watching him play sports. Well hope everyone is having a great summer so far. We are getting ready to go on vacation soon and treasure/junk hunt and I'm sooo excited!!! I love that kind of hunting! We will see family also, but the sales and treasure hunting is so much fun. We have a great time with the relatives we stay with and the kids love it at their place. A Lil' Craftin'

Well it's been slow going for craftin' around here with lots of other stuff to do. This is the last week of school YEA! The kids get out Thursday about 1:00. I am buying paint this weekend to redo Samanthas bedroom, we are going with raspberry and lime green, but just not sure exactly which goes where yet :) White will also be in the color group so I'll definitely post pics as its being done and should be fun!?! we shall see. I still am searching for bedding, who would of thought it would this hard to find cute stuff for little girls, that we like I guess I should say. Then we will be painting the trim in Hannahs room also and I dont know how thats going to go over because she has a cat that is only in her room, so he may get cagged for the first few hours till paints dry, and I'm sure he will enjoy that! I'm ready to get these projects checked off my to do list!

Well as for craftin' I've sewn some little cats and bees together, and made some prim firecrackers for bowl fillers. I am also working on a sign that I'm gonna add nail pegs to and can't wait to finish it and see how it turns out. I always have things visioned in my head but sometimes it dosen't always look as good as it did in my head :0)

Getting organized

New cabinets The olde shelf

Well we got the cabinets up in the garage, the ones "I" got for mothers day :) The white is ok I guess but hubby picked them out and I just think they are gonna be fun to keep clean. It is much nicer than the big shelf we did have, it is a cool shelf my hubby built, but everything would just pile up on it and so it always looked messy. Now we can hide the mess because we have doors now! LOL! My son told us we can't just pitch the shelf because it's so cool so it has been relocated to the back porch. Well that's all for now I'm taking a break from crafting this week to get some house things done and to get things ready to redo my lil ones room. We are gonna repaint and I want to find new bedding for her to. It should be fun and I'll post pics of the progress :) So have a great night and Memorial Day weekend! No big plans yet so we may just hang out at home and BBQ, yummm!

Finally Finished!

Finally I finished this chair! I'm so glad it's done and not sitting there starring at me in pieces :0) I think my cushion is a lil to thick but it will just be extra comfy I suppose. I added one of my stitchery pillows, it fit perfectly on it. Now I just have to figure out where I'm gonna put it, hmmm.... I have chairs all around our home. I just have a thing for chairs, especially ladder back ones if I find them, love 'em! I couldn't find a fabric I loved so I used a kitchen towel I bought while on vacation. There is this store that has tons of them for under 2.00 and prim colors and patterns, so I usually stock up when we are up there. The towel fit perfectly over the seat. The before pic you can't tell but I had to glue the center cross bar back in place, but that was all that was wrong with it. Well besides the seat cover was falling apart, it was a type of leather. That was easy to rip off :0) I am putting the finishing touches on my other project and can't wait to post it! So that should be in a few days. Have a great day!

Well I don't have any pics for this post. Just wanted to say hi and hope everyone had a great weekend! We were working on some projects. My hubby bought "me" cabinets for our garage for Mothers Day so we could get it organized. So he put them all together and hung them so now tonight we get to fill them up with all our stuff that seems to always be growing in the garage! We shall see how long this lasts-everyone putting things away in the cabinets, hmmm.... I started my other makeover project this morning also so when it's done I'll post a pic. Still can't find my staple gun so I am going to Wal-Mart today to get another and then finally finish my chair, YEA! I am now on Facebook also which is a big step for me :0) My sister helped me set it up. maybe I'll be on the computer more now that I will post more often?!? Yea, we'll see :) Because I just have so much spare thyme you know! HaHa. Happy Mothers Day

I hope everyone has a wonderful Mothers Day. We have plans with my hubbys family for a picnic BBQ at a big park near us, we did that last year and all the kids loved it so it should be fun. The picture I have above is from a card that I gave my mom for Mothers Day one year, I have a box of her things and she saved alot of the cards we kids gave her. She is no longer here to give a card to but she is in our thoughts and hearts. So give your Mom a hug for sure because you never know what tomorrow will bring. I have been busy stitching that will become pillows eventually. I am almost finished with a chair makeover. I would of already posted it last week but my staple gun has grown lil legs and ran off like every tool I seem to own! My son is usually the one I look to first because he is always dissasembling something I think, but he said nope he didn't take it so hmmm... I don't know but it's going to drive me to buy another and then I bet it will pop up again :0) It's gotta be here somewhere! So when I finish my chair I'll post it. Smells Good

Well here is my Reed Diffuser prim style :0) I recycled my starbucks Frappuccino bottles into prim diffusers, pretty cool I think. I had this "receipe" to prim jars that I got awhile ago from I don't know where. First I brushed the jar with polyurethane then sprinkled cinnamon on, let it dry then repeat and ending with a coat of the polyurethane. Pretty simple and it looks great. I aged some muslin then stamped my willow tree on and used spray glue to attach it to the jar. The stamp is my own drawing I sent into a stamp making company and they turned it into a stamp for me, cool huh? I have more drawings I want to send in one of these days. Well thats about it for crafting besides stitching some pillow tops, I'm always stitching. I even have a basket in my car that has my threads and patterns in it at all times, so I can work while I wait on kids :0) Have a great night!

Finally Finished!

Ok so this lil' project has taken me forever to complete it seems! It has been sitting on my counter in my craft room for many months while I did a lil' at a thyme between other projects. Well now it is finished finally! Yay! I love how it turned out, although I would change the drawing if I do another. We are always are worst critic :0) Now I just have to figure out where I want to hang it up at, hmmmm... It feels like forever since I've been on my blog but it's been busy around here. Kids had spring break last week so we had lots to do. Still need to get my windows cleaned though, it's that thyme of year for all that fun stuff that no one likes to help with :) Well hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well maybe not quite! I finished a few more dolls and just had to put them in the doll carriage to see how they looked. I think they are gonna be cute in my craft booth displayed that way :0) I'm working on a red head one now. I finished up a couple more of my framed stitcheries this week also. The picture is a lil' blurry because of the glass, it says "when I lay me down to sleep I count my blessings instead of sheep" I have this one (different fabric) above our bed with prim pip berries around it. The stacked boxes I redid. I've had them floating around my booths for years, they were blue with sunflowers on them. Well I decided to repaint them and add some stitcheries and then sanded them then aged them. I really love how they turned out! The edges have some blue peeking through and I think it looks great. I wrapped a homespun strip of fabric around the stack and added a dried flower on top, and done! Now I am tring to decide if I want to keep it or sell it! I only have this one, so we'll see. Well thats about it so far this week, my son has a ball game tonight away so that should be fun. Have a great day!

OK so this weekend was 4th Sat. in my lil town which means antiques galore. We have alot of antique stores in town( it's an olde town) and every 4th Sat. of the month they line the streets down town and people come from all over to treasure hunt. Well hubby had to work and the older two kids don't have much intrest so I went with my 2 yr. olde. Might as well start her early right! So I put 8 quarters in her lil bag and off we went treasure hunting! We had so much fun and she got alot of compliments on her bag, it was to cute. I found some olde kitchen utensils, an olde candle mold, some buttons, and 2 McCoy bowls. Love it! Samantha bought a bag of marbles, she was telling everyone she got her marbles! Cute! So on the way home we hit a yard sale and then stopped at the U-Pick Strawberry patch and picked some berries. Yesterday I hit a yard sale and found a glass washboard, and this olde baby doll carriage, it says Gendron, Toronto Canada on it. I am gonna put in my craft booth to display my dolls in, cute right! Well I have been busy finishin' up all the dolls I cut out, ten to be exact! They are getting hair now. I finished one so I could show her off, she turned out so cute I think :0) I just love the hair! She is a Raggedy Pants Designs Pattern. She is next to one of my signs I have been workin' on also. The other photo is what signs I've done this past week. I have alot going on to build up the inventory for my upcoming show. It has been slow going these past few months I think cause the thyme of year. I just have so many ideas and want to's and not enough thyme! Austin is playing Baseball now, first base. Hannah is doing Volleyball to so that cuts into the evenings and any craft thyme but it's all good. I'm still working on that hook loop project and soo close to done and hope to post it next week. Well we are officially done with our county fair, and I'm so glad. Don't get me wrong we all look forward to it coming and the kids showing thier hogs, but it makes for a very long week. They did good. Hannah placed 3rd in her class and Austin placed 5th in his. Hannah had the largest hog so she ended up winning the award for the most weight gain, her hog-Paul- weighed 299 lbs.! He was 22lbs. when she got him!! She also won second place for her record book in her age group. She was so happy. We had a fun week and are playin catch up now. Hopefully now I can get some craftin' done, I have 10 dolls all unassembled on my counter waitin' for me. I get one step done and it just seems to be taking forever. I also have a stack of frames and signs waitin' to be sanded and finished. Those are my goals for this week, we'll see how it goes :0) I also want to make a reed diffuser, and have some directions, so I hope it turns out like I have it visioned in my head-prim of course- Let me know if anyone has made these and any tips would be great! Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas and is having a nice New Year! We usually don't do much for the New Years Eve thing. We are in bed by 10. I guess as we've gotten older we would rather sleep! Well I did finish my gift I was making for my friend by Christmas and I have a pic to show ya. She turned out sooo cute! I just love her and her lil' puppy. I hope my friend thinks the same :0). I have cut out enough to do 10 more dolls and puppies to sell but I have to keep one for me to. My older daughter just thought she was awesome. She has alot of hair, it was so easy to do and fun. My girl strung a clothes line up on our front porch for me to hang the lil' dresses and bloomers after I coffee stained them. It looked so cute with all of them hung up like that. The pattern is a Raggedy Pants Designs one and I had fun with it. I have more of their patterns to work on to. This one is called Puppy Love. Well I got some sad news today, a friend of mines dog passed away the other day :( She was a Yorkie and her name was Emily, she was 14yr. and such a sweetie and ohh soo cute. So I just had to make a card for my friend, she is an amazing card maker (the best). That's how I met her, through our papercrafting. Anyway here is a pic of the card, the puppy has angel wings that are hard to see in the pic. Well my lil' one is healing great from her broken collar bone and is pretty much clear to play n stuff. Well it has been awhile I must say since my last post! Alot has been going on, but that is the norm this time of year for us all I suppose. We had a great Thanksgiving, and fun Black Friday shopping! We were out all night long, literally! We are crazy I know but it was fun and great memories too :0) Then on the 27th my lil' one fell and broke her collar bone!! All she said at first was her neck was ouchy, so off to the ER we went and they felt her neck and said they didn't think it was hurt and we could do a CT which they said would show things better than a X-Ray. They thought she may just be sore or pulled a muscle so we decided to wait and see how she does the next day. Well by Sun. afternoon the collar area was puffy so Mon. we went to the Ortho. and sure enough it was broke. Well then the fun began. Just imagine keeping a 2yr. old from not climbing or using her arm! Not easy. They gave her a sling which did not work so we resorted to an ace bandage wrap. It was constant work for me to keep an eye on her at all times, just plain exhausting! Well she is out of her wrap now but still have to be cautious untill the next X-Ray in Jan. So needless to say I haven't gotten alot of crafting done but I'm trying. Here is a pic of my girl all wrapped up. Well I'll post my latest projects in a few days hopefully as I get them done, one is a gift for a friend so I'm down to the wire on time. Have a Blessed night!

Well we are getting for turkey day around here and I'm sure everyone else is to. We goto my in-laws for the day and have a huge meal, the kids make crafts and watch movies like the grinch, the kids decorate grandmas Christmas tree-which takes a whole 5 min. max! because there are so many of them-, then the guys go hunting and come back with stories :0), and we plan our shopping attack for the morning. It is usually a long and fun day. Yes I'm one of the crazies out there at 2 or 3 am waiting in line for the great deals with my lists and coupons! My oldest daughter comes with, she loves to see what we get for free-future crazie-. we have so much fun and this year one of my sister in-laws is going along to, it's always more fun with more people. My hubby thinks we are insane but oh well. The way I see it he should be happy I don't drag him along! Ya that would just be torture for us both, he's your typical guy and hates to go shopping. We took our Christmas/family photo this weekend and it came out great because we all were looking at the camera! That's not an easy task I'm sure you know. Ya that's another thing my guys whine about when I tell them we are taking our annual photo. I only make them do that once a year and boy you'd think I do it weekly with the complaints I get! Gotta luv em! Well I've been busy working on a few items mostly Christmas stuff and cleaning up my craft room. I want to repaint it but first I need to redo my shed I use to store my show stuff, and my trailer I haul my show stuff in. I can only manage 1 big project at a time :0) I'm almost done with my hook looping project, I'll post a pic when its done. Well have a blessed Thanksgiving and don't eat to much!!

Lots Goin' on

Well this has been a very hectic past 2 weeks. I did the first weekend of Hunsaders Fall Festival in Bradenton, those are the pics I took. It was a nice weekend. Then on the way home we got a call from our son that he was in a car accident and totaled his truck :( I don't want to go into much detail but needless to say it was not a good way to end the day on Sunday. He is ok, he was really shaken and upset, and his friend that was with him had to get stitches in his foot but is ok. Thank you Lord! It took him days before he would talk or eat, and I cried for two days. I am the one who told him to go into town and get pizza and they didn't wanna leave, I felt so bad, and still do. We are doin' better but he dosen't want to drive and I don't know when I'll be ok with him doing that anyway! That was so scary and it could of been so much worse. They both had seatbelts on thank goodness. Well the following weekend we headed 3 1/2 hrs north to do a show in McIntosh, my first time there and it was a really good show. I didn't get a chance to even go walk around to look!or even take a pic of my booth! So I don't even know what all I missed out on which is probably a good thing. My walkin' around was to take my lil one to the potty, yea you can imagine how much fun that was with a potty training child and a port a potty!~memories~ But we survived :0) and the weekend was fun. Next it's back to the Hunsaders Fall Festival for thier last of 3 weekends. Should be fun and can't wait to do the pics of kids in the pumpkin patch, I love that! I just love the pic of my lil one Sam, she fell asleep right at the end of the McIntosh show in our chair with her arm in the pringles can!! Thats how we all felt :0) It was to cute. My son's Casino party

Ok we had my son, Austin's, 16th birthday party casino style. We did a combined party with his best bud Trenton who turned 16 a month after him. They are like twins, we swear they even share a brain some days! LOL! They have the same interests and stuff. We had so much fun, they played pool and went swimming and fishing of course and we had poker and bingo and card games. We got them pink party hats & pink ribbon buttons that said sweet 16! and them some cool card shades and necklace to wear. My son joked saying he liked pink so I got him some pink! (He would not wear pink, ever!) Then we spent the evening by the fire and they got up early and went hunting. My hubby, son, and daughter all each shot a buck that morning! Hannah's was the biggest a 8 point and it was her first one! That was awesome. We are a big hunting family. We so loved the cake, it turned out soooo awesome. Everything was edible! and the money looked so real, it was great and yummy :0) Well the next 3 weeks I have craft shows each weekend so I will try to get some pics up during that thyme of my booths and stuff for ya to check out. Iv'e been busy trying to get stuff made, I'm tired but ready to sell alot hopefully! I do love the fall festivals, it's my fav thyme of year. What I've been working on...

Well I finally finished my Christmas stockings and snowman. They both are Country Friends Patterns that I've had in my stash for awhile. I love the snowman he is like 23" tall with a cute bag full of stuff n' a sign saying "Feed The Birds" how cute is that :0) I like snowmen to decorate with at Christmas thyme, I guess it reminds me of growing up in Iowa and loving the snow to play in and it's a season I don't get living way down south. I so miss my seasons. Anyway.....He was fun to make. The stockings were so easy and fun to, I made 3 of each- a snowman, a snowman head, and a gingerbread man all with different homespun for the fabric. Then I made a willow tree from an olde spool, the ones I got at my auctions while on vacation. I used some covered floral wire that was quite thick and tied lil' strips of a green homespun all the way down the wire. Then bunched the branches up n' stuffed them in the hole at the top of the spool. Next I tied small rusty bells to the ends of each branch. I stitched up a crow, painted it, added rusty wire legs n' attached it to the top and it's done! Whatcha think? I love it! Now I need to make more. I am also working on a Locker Hooking project and I'll post that when it's done, but it's so easy and addicting, I didn't want to stop after I started! I kept sayin' just one more row... LOL! Well I've been busy for sure tryin' to get craftin' done, with shows pretty much each weekend in October. The only weekend I don't have a show we are having my son's 16th birthday party with his good friend who's turning 16 soon. The theme is Poker/ Texas Hold Em' so it should be fun :0) That's also my birthday weekend, and I thought I might do a giveaway for that weekend, my first ever! so we'll see what I decide just check back. Where do you create?

Well here is some pics of my craft room, it's a 12x12 room and I definitely use up every last inch of space and could use alot more! We built our home 5 years ago and that was one thing I said I had to have was a craft room. I love my space and am so thankful to have it. I swear it is always a cluttered but organized (in my head) mess :0) I know where every little thing is at. I have my stamping stuff, scrapbooking stuff, sewing stuff, fabric, and can't forget the one end is just for my daughters creative stuff. I put a small island that houses my scrapbook paper racks under it at one end. I love the island because I seem to always be standing for whatever I'm workin on. As you can see I'm workin on snowmen, and stockings, and the pile of fabric is my daughters to make dog toys to sell at my shows. She always wants to sell something to. Well take a peek into my creative world :0) And then tell me about your space to! We have been busy into school 'round here and my son Austin just turned 16!!!! OH BOY!! the fun begins. He is on his highschool varsity football team and plays Offensive Line and Defensive Line if needed. That is our Friday nights and I Love watching him play. They won the last game, YEA!! I can't believe he'll be driving soon. They grow so quick. And I can't forget about the 4-H hogs we have now, like we don't have alot going the kids also raise 4-H pigs to show in the fair. Some Finished Goodies!

Hey all, I hope you are having a great holiday weekend! I went walking 5 miles with my sister Sat. and today. I love to go walking, she loves jogging, so we walked :0) I really don't run unless my life depends on it or my kids need me and thats the truth! LOL!! We had fun though. Well I've been busy finishing up my fall craft stuff for my shows coming up in Oct. and here is a couple pictures of some cool witch boots, one set short and the other long stocking like. They turned out so cool, I was really happy with them. One is a Tennessee Ridge Primitives pattern and the other is a Country Friends Pattern. One of those things that I finally got around to making. Well thats all I'm doing for fall so now I'm onto my Christmas. This week is a snowman and it's gonna be big. I can't wait to finish it and I'll post it then to. Well have a great night! Ohh by the way I'm sooooo happy to say that all the puppies are sold and gone!!! Wow, it's been awhile!

Wow has it been that long!? Well we are finally back in school this week, so it's just me and my lil' one at home during the days now again. She is quite bored without her big sister and brother around for entertainment so I won't be getting to do as much craftin' as before, as now I'm spending more time playing with her :0) That's ok though, she will be off to school before I know it to. She just had her 2nd Birthday so that was fun, it was a Minnie Mouse party and too cute! She would walk around singing- Happy Birthday to me- she was all into her birthday. Well I did get some more trim painted and have a lil more left, then I will be doing touch-ups. I will hopefully get some pics up of the house next time, it's always a work in progress it seems :0) I still have the puppies, well 3 left, I did sell only one so far and it's very stressfull because I want them all outta here! I'm so sick of puppies. It's a ton of work and time invested and money to, I'm ready to move on! I'm finishing up my fall crafts this week for my upcoming shows so I can then move onto Christmas crafts, I'll put pics up of them soon also. It's just been so crazy around here I'll be glad to get back into a routine again. Well have a great day! Blessings

Puppy Update

Well here they are now 7 weeks old and boy are they a full time cleaning job!I have them in a large pen area in the office room and they are just something else. I really do not enjoy waking up to the mess they make during the night. It starts with cleaning and bleaching the pen area then cleaning all the paws because you know they can't just step over the stuff they have to step in it!! Thats when the cuteness just goes out the window! Not a fun job but hopefully they all will sell quickly after I list them. We had to use nail polish to paint a spot on their tails because as you can see they all look pretty much alike, white and furry.

Yea they are cute, but I will love to see them all go to someone else when the day comes :0) Well
I'm off to do a second coat on some trim in my pantry area, I'll get some pics up of the house one of these days for ya to check out. Have a great night! ~Blessings~

What a Week!

Well this has been quite a week. We are getting ready for my daughters sleepover on Friday with about7 girls coming to stay. This is the first sleepover she's having so it should be fun! So we have been busy running around gathering stuff and renting movies. Then it's been Vacation Bible School each morning so no snoozin' in! Then I have 4 puppies almost 6 weeks old that require alot of attention and cleanin' up after :(- I swear all they do is potty! and at all hours of the night! The mom has decided she is done nursing which can't really blame her I wouldn't want 4 latchin' on to me either and teeth just came through. So they are on puppy food now and we go next week to vet for first shots and stuff so I can hopefully sell them in a couple weeks. Thats always a happy day for me, it is alot of work and I'm glad to see them all go! Well then we have Wednesday I got my very first ever ticket for speeding and it's a huge one let me just tell ya! I was soooo upset that day, so needless to say I didn't get alot done. I just wanted to go back to bed and hope it didn't happen, but couldn't so after I calmed down later I did some sewing. Then our power went out for a long while which made for some grumpy people because it was hot and they couldn't shower. I wanted to go online and couldn't so we all just laid on the tile floors and played some cards by candle light. The power did come back on late so we did get to sleep in AC so that was nice. Well thats it so far and I really hope the weekend goes smooth and my daughter has fun with her sleepover, it's for her birthday so we spent the afternoon today decorating the house. They grow up so fast don't they! Well Thats all for now I don't know how much craftin' I'll get done this weekend but I have finished some cool witch hats and am workin' on lil' witch boots. I'm ready for the fall, it's my FAVORITE season. My T.P. Roll Challenge!

Ok so I'm not exactly on time but I finally got it done! and I love how it turned out. This was the challenge for Donna at http://sweetprairiedwellings.blogspot/ we had to create something from a roll of T.P. Well while I was on vacation, we stay with relatives that's a family of all boys, so the mom and I love to get together and talk prim ideas and we thought this up. Rhoda said what if you turned it and it could be a sheep, and I said OMG I have the perfect legs for it also! We are so much alike with our taste for olde and prim. So I flattened the roll, as in the pic below, and glued it to stay. Then I decided it needed to be fluffy so I unrolled some and began scrunchin and gluein' as I went around the roll. But I thought it needed to be more prim lookin' so I spritzed it with some walnut ink. Then I drew up a head and ears, attached them and a tail. Then glued the flat head rusty nails to the bottom and tied a scarf around the neck and it's done! My hubby thought I should of left it white so I did another and left it white. Then after he saw them both done he actually liked the prim lookin' one better :0) Well check out the pics and I hope ya like them! Been Busy!

Here are a few of the things I've been workin' on this past week. I made alot of everything for upcomin' shows. I made pumpkin with moss on top (a TRP) pattern. The other pumpkin is from a pattern from years back, I make them with homespun and they are so cute I think. Then I made some witch brooms (aTRP) pattern and oh so easy, I added my own tag that says the witch is out. I created the ears of corn myself and am so happy how they turned out, I so love these, I think they may go with my cornstalks we'll see. The corn is a waffle look fabric I washed in antique gold and aged. The silk is some jute frayed up a lil' bit then the husks are olive felt I grunged up. They were so easy and fun to do and my daughter just thinks they are awesome. Luv that! Lastly is my attempt at candy corn, I say attempt because I was so sure when I was paintin' them that this is how the colors go, yellow, white, orange. Well then hubby comes in and says is that right? so then I had to go through my scrapbook stuff to find a pic of them and sure enough I was wrong. I was so upset. You go through the entire process to get almost done and realize you messed up, that is upsetting to say the least. Well my friend told me not to scrap them and just wait and see if they sell so thats what I decided. I told hubby that well if I was to make the candy to eat this is how I would do the color order! :0) LOL! so I added a tag and called it done. In the process of it all I so forgot to do my challenge for donna so I'm still wantin' to do it because I have a neat idea so I'll post that later this week if all goes good. Well today we are off to find boots for my son, he has very big feet and we have a hard time findin' shoes for him! sounds funny but it's true :0) and he always only wears boots so it's off to a western store today, I hope they have big cause he needs like a 14 extra wide and he's almost 16 in a few months! He's a big ole' boy you'd think he was corn fed! HaHa LOL!!Ok well have a great prim day! ~Blessings~

Well here is my last photos from my auction treasures....
This basket was my very last win for the day, a long day but so fun :0) , I LOVE baskets and have just a "few" Longaberger around the house. So I really liked this wood basket when I saw it and it's in good condition. It has been filled with my fav. magazine Country Sampler of course and put by my fireplace.Then I just love crocks and was so happy when hubby won this one for me :0) it's a big one, yea he knows what makes me happy!I got this wood trunk with the thought to put it in my craft booth and fill it with ornies, I like using olde things to display with in my booth. I think it will look good and goes so well with my prims. :0)Well you know there is always something for the guys to and my guys are into hunting, fishing, etc. My hubby loves olde guns so he wanted this one when he spotted it, it is a 32cal. muzzle loader. They also had to get this olde bayonette (is that spelled right?? oh well) the case is leather and it is pretty neat. They both will go on the mantel or up on the wall. They did shoot the gun and boy that thing is loud! They just love that stuff ;0) So it was a good auction day we all got what we wanted or hoped to so every one was happy. Now I just have to wait until I get to go again. Well have a good night, I'm off to do a lil craftin' before bed. ~Blessings~

More Auction Finds!

Here is some more pics. of my finds (I told ya I had alot of pics.) More crocks :0) luv them. Then there is an olde kitchen scale, an olde coffee grinder (finally) I have been wanting one of these for awhile now, and an olde baking powder tin.

These stacking boxes hubby won for 5.00 they are neat and I'm thinking they are for flour, sugar, etc. Hubby just liked how they were made, no nails just all the sides joined and they all rest inside each other. I'll find something to put in them I'm sure!

More crocks, these are ones my hubby won, he knows what I like :0) If it's olde, chippy paint, a lil' rusty it's perfect! LOL! Well thats all for today, I have more pics. so check back in the next couple days and hopefully I'll also get some up of where everything has been going. That has been hard I just keep standing around staring at my stuff and thinkin' how I'm gonna place it then I get some done but my kids think I'm nuts because I stand there like I'm lost, it's to funny. It takes time to find the right spots, and rearranging it is what I tell them. They just laugh.

More Treasures!

Ok so here is more of my auction treasures.... I got these spools thinkin' surely I can do some cool make-do with them, so we'll have to see what I create. It should be fun :0)

Here are a few of the crocks I found, LUV them. Well who dosen't right! My hubby got these at one of the many auction "booths". There are like 6 or more auctions going at once, they start at one end and the middle and work their way through this very huge building going down the rows. So it makes people like me look crazy running, well squeezing through the crowds of people, to get to other booths in hopes I don't miss something I had my eye on. Because you

know you find something you like at every booth! Luv it, luv it, luv it!!! ok moving on, here is a neat glass rolling pin, how unique is that! :) then a wood caddy/ tool box. Whatever ya wanna call it I can just picture it stuffed with some prims!

Ok now I spotted this HUGE jar of buttons stuck way back under a table and it was love at first sight! I was not gonna let it go, so I really had to wait on this one, and it seemed to be the last thing they sold I swear! but finally I won it and boy was I happy :0) It's 11 in. tall and stuffed with all sorts of olde buttons, awesome!

Lastly I got this olde coffee grinder. I have eyed these for years now and I was so happy to get it. I did have a man who was runnin' me up so I paid a lil' more but I'm so happy I won it. It's going on my wall in my kitchen. The glass and handle part say "Crystal" I think it's so cool! Well thats it for today, check back tomorrow to see more! My Vacation treasures!

Yea, we are back from vacation and we had so much fun, well I know I did with all the treasures I found! I decided to just do a few photos a day so I don't have quite as long a post to drag out. The first things I got were the box of masson jars for 5.00 at a yard sale. Then off to another sale...

and I got the chip tin for 5.00, the lard tin for 3.00, the crock bowl for 4.00 and a army sewing kit for .50 cents it has a really neat pair of scissors in it. The small rug was .25 cents also. I think I got some good buys :0) The top pic. is of just a few of the goodies I got at my auction on Wed. it's my FAV. place to go when we are up there (northern Indiana) well besides seeing family! That is just one of many crocks I got, and that jar of buttons is huge! I was so happy I got it, it's so cool. Well I will have better pics of those to come in the next few days so check back to take a peek. Now is the fun part, finding just the right spot for each piece. I have some redecorating to do this week and then I plan on puttin up some pics of my home in the weeks to come.

Busy Week!

Ok, well ya think ohh summers here and you get to relax some
finally right!?! Well not around here, I swear the list just continues to grow like my weeds in my flower beds! It has been busy with the yard stuff, my sons playin' summer Baseball, my lil' one

decidin' she wants to be potty trained, the everyday have to do's and findin' time to craft ~whew! Ohh and I can't forget the new puppies, they are gettin' fat and big n to cute. I did get some craftin' done, I finished some bears a week or so ago and I made some really cool prim cornstalks (a Hill Kountry Kreations pattern) and some lil' pumpkins. I did two different bears, one with a face and one with just x's for eyes and they are holdin' a stitchery pillow I made that says "olde bear 1812" and its tacked to the arms (they sell for 25.00). The lil' punkins are made with homespun and a cinnamon stick for the top. I have to get more spray so I can spray them with a yummy scent (they sell for 4.00 for the lil' one & 8.50 for the big one). The prim corn stalks were so fun to do and I love how they turned out. The pattern bunches it up by 24 pieces but I only did it with 7 pieces in my bunch to keep it a lil' smaller sized and I'm workin' on a prim tag for them to (they sell for 9.00).I'm busy buildin' up stock for fall shows. I'm workin' on some punkin' ornies and candy corn ornies this week before we go on vacation. YEA! I'm so lookin' forward to vacation, we goto amish country where hubby has family and I goto flea markets and an auction which I love! I really hope I get some great finds, I'm so excited and hopin' I can get my crew to stop at other sales along the way :0) Well thanks for stoppin' by and have a great week! ~Blessings~

Puppies!

We have 4 new babies! Two girls and two boys from my dog Sally, she is a Malt~A~Poo. She had them on Fathers Day morning, that is what I woke up to :0) I have the dad to, his name is Billy. Happy Fathers Day for him! They are so cute and snow white.

The pic of the puppy on the olde scale is what they look like in about 6 weeks, that is one from a previous litter. I love the pic of them all lined up nursing like lil piglets, LOL! They are all doin' good and mom is to. Well I hope everyone had a Happy Fathers Day, we spent the day car shoppin' (ohh joy) not a favorite thing to do, and tendin' to puppies. Maybe now can get some craftin' done the next few days. Have a great night all.

Tin can challenge!

ok so here is my tin can for the challenge for Donna over at SweetPrairieDwellings.blogspot.com I made the Sunflower one first and was just not that thrilled with it. It's cute in all and the center of the flowers are cloves but somethin' just wasn't doin' it for me. Sooo, I made a second one and really love how it turned out. I went with a 4th of July idea seeing as how it's comin' up soon. I painted the can the aged it, and the flag, n stars, ok well the whole thing :) I made the slice of watermelon and thought it needed a crow of course! So I added the crow to it with wire for the legs. My daughter just loves the watermelon n' crow! I love it when my kids like my creations :0) ok, I attached the stars to wire, then made a tag that says " God Bless America 1776" , added some spanish moss and it's done! It's my Independence Day hat. Ok well I hope you like it and now I'm off to run errands and can't wait to go check everyone elses out later today! Sunflowers

Aren't these sunflowers so pretty! I bought them from a roadside stand for 1.00 a bunch!! So I bought 3 bunches (about 15 stems!!) Cool huh?! I was to happy to get them :0) to brighten my kitchen. Then I got to go to the fabric store ~yea~ and found some good buys in the sale bin for 1.00 a yard, love that. So now I can finish my bears and a cool challenge that I'm doing for Donna over at Sweet Prairie Dwellings with a tin can. I can't wait to finish it and post it! I've made one and was not that tickled with it so I came up with somethin' else and am lovin' it. I plan on posting it on Wednesday, so you can see it then and I'll post both things I made. Well I'm off to soak my fabric in coffee :0) so have a great day!

Berries!

Well as you can see we picked alot of blueberries. Ohh only 17 pounds worth!!! They were 1.00 a pound so I decided to get alot and freeze them. The kids like to eat them frozen to, so hopefully they will last awhile. My kitchen was covered in berries, well most of it was :0) These are pics of my island and two counter tops. It was so hot but we had fun :0) I made a cobbler that night, yummy! The other pic is of my lil one "pickin" berries, she ate more

than she put in the bucket I think! she was busy and lovin' it. Well I'm off to work on bears so have a great day!

For the birds

Well I thought I'd share some pics of my birds, these are my favorite kind to own they don't make any mess like a real ones do! The pattern is from Sassafras Hill Primitives I got awhile back and I added a few of my own touches. I do have some more ideas to add also but that will
come later :) I love them! Each one is different with a different button attached to both sides of the wings on the body. They sell for 10.00 ea. and are about 10 1/2" to 11 1/2" tall depending on the bird, and vary in color fabric and berry wreaths or garland. I have mine perched on a cabinet shelf and they would be cute on a window ledge but I have a young one who runs my home and loves to redecorate! So I keep things up :) She has already picked chunks out of my candles I've hand drawn and painted then aged, Gotta love that! LOL!!!

Cats

Well I finally finished my cats! It took me a little longer than I planned, ya know everything else just kept coming first it seemed. Well I think they turned out cute, the black one is Jasper and the cream one is Sugar. I drew up the pattern a few weeks ago and I'm glad they are done. I love grunging them with coffee and then rubbing cinnamon all over, the smell is sooo good! And when I do shows my booth smells so yummy from it. I use alot of cinnamon so if a customer buys an item and doesn't like all of it on there they can just rub it off, easy! But the smell stays~ahhh~ ok well take a look!

Well this is gonna be hectic the next week as the kids are almost out of school and so much going on. My next craft project is to make more bears, I'm building stock for the fall shows coming up, I love my bears :0) so hopefully I get them accomplished in less time than it took to do the cats!
Ohh, I'm still figuring out a price for the cats, my daughter (who helped sew them) thinks 15.00 for Jasper~ he is 15in. tall, and 10.00 for Sugar~ she is almost 11 in. tall. So well see. Well I'm off to start my bears, have a great week and hope you had a nice Memorial Day!

Well I finally finished my signs for my home! Well some for now at least :0) I plan on making more. They went in my master bedroom, mud room, above a doorway, my kitchen, and to hang in my booth at craft shows. Well of course it was alot more work than I planned. I started to hang them and noticed how dusty my curtains were and the windows could use a wipe down. Soooo needless to say all curtains came down and got cleaned and all windows got a wipe down, just from wanting to hang some signs! They are hung and I'm happy. I may alter the mud room one and play with other colors on the arched one but for now they work. Take a look.... I'm off to stitch noses onto my prim cats! Have a great day!

Oh Deer

Well I was woke up this morning by my hubby saying he found a baby deer along our fence line. The eyes on him are all cloudy so he may be blind but we're not sure. My sisters fiance is taking him to bottle feed and care for so we'll see how it goes. He is so cute just look at the pic. We looked for a mom but nothing so we are not sure what to think, but we just had to try and help him. I'm still working on my signs, waiting on hubby to cut them down, then I can finish them :) So now we(my daughter and I) are working on a cat pattern I created. She is really into sewing on my machine so she got to sew them. Hopefully they will be done for the next post. Have a great day!

Well this is my first post and I'm still learning about it all so bear with me :) I've been checking out alot of amazing blogs and love them. There are so many creative people out there. This week I've been playing with some stencils I bought and making some signs for my home, and its been so much fun. Once I figure out setting up my blog like making it look good, I'll get some pics up to check out. My hope is to also sell my crafts.
